To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the movie Lords of Dogtown, we are releasing a limited edition T-shirt.
This product features a cut of Tony Alva, played by Victor Rasuk, skating through the city at night. His figure speeding along while Jimi Hendrick's “Voodoo Child” plays is an impressive scene that symbolizes Lords of Dogtown.
We captured that exhilarating moment and placed it as a back print.
Black was selected for the body to express the “night” atmosphere of the scene.
Furthermore, the front is printed with the tagline from the film's release at the time, “They came from nothing to change everything,” completing a piece that embodies the atmosphere and message of the film.
The silhouette is based on the era depicted in the film, and the body features an impressive collar rib without stitching. The fabric is a high-quality cotton jersey, meticulously balanced for thickness, texture, and softness. The front features silk-screen printing. For the back, we used a black magic inkjet print that blends into the body color of the T-shirt, allowing the fantastical nighttime cityscape from the downhill scene to appear as if it's melting into the fabric.
