This collaboration presents a special item that fuses the iconic MA-1 flight jacket with the world's first mass-produced 100% plant-derived nylon, featured in PORTER's signature Tanker series.
The cigarette pocket traditionally attached to the left sleeve has been reimagined as a detachable PORTER wallet, retaining its signature design. The filling utilises Thinsulate™ high-performance insulation developed by 3M™, a lightweight yet highly insulating material. Its complex interlocking of microfibres and polyester fibres of varying thicknesses effectively traps warm air.
The lining incorporates the “travelling map” detail once seen on flight jackets. This travelling map has been finished as an original design unique to Yoshida Kaban, expressing a playful spirit and peaceful message befitting an anniversary year.
