Steadily saving with gratitude and thanks
A custom-made piggy bank produced by “Hyotaya,” a company founded in the early Edo period that deals in Shinto ritual implements in the Ise area. Hinoki, a tree that has long been revered as sacred at shrines and temples, is used for this piggy bank. The design is based on the motif of a “Sai-Sen-Bako” (money-offering box), in which money is deposited at shrines and temples to express gratitude for the fulfillment of wishes or to express gratitude for daily life.
It is carefully finished by the hands of craftsmen in Ise, using traditional methods and tools, and the “BEAMS JAPAN” logo and “made in ise” are branded on the surface. If you save up a small amount of money as a token of your appreciation or gratitude, it will give you a boost when the time comes or when you want to take on a new challenge.
