The main material is a high-density nylon twill with 110 denier warp and 210 denier weft, carefully woven in Ishikawa Prefecture in Hokuriku, which boasts high technology in the production of synthetic fiber fabrics, using nylon yarn from Toray Industries, Inc. In addition to its high durability and water repellency, this material has excellent colorability. Cordura nylon oxide, which is abrasion and tear resistant, is used for the bottom and hakama, which require high strength.

Seiren, one of Japan's largest quality manufacturers, was commissioned to produce the nylon fabric, which is considered unsuitable for printing, using its proprietary technology, Viscotecs, to express the original colors.

The design of the pockets is based on the details of fishing jacket pockets. The watertight zippers are placed at an angle according to the shape of the jacket, and the flap pockets with elastic attached to the gussets around the mouth make it easy to insert and remove small items such as smartphones and passcases.
