The "TANKER" series was introduced in 1983 and is synonymous with PORTER.
It uses an original three-layer fabric developed with the U.S. Air Force flight jacket "MA-1" as its motif. The 3-layer fabric of nylon twill (surface) + polyester cotton (middle layer) + nylon taffeta (reverse side) is very light, with the soft feel of bonding material and the vivid rescue orange of the reverse side. This series is filled with the thorough attention to detail of Yoshida Kaban craftsmen in all processes from cutting to sewing and parts.
It is available in three colors: black, sage green, and iron blue, with a vivid rescue orange on the reverse side. In addition, hardware such as aluminum zippers, snap buttons, and nacelles, which were rare at the time of its release, are made to peel off their paint on purpose so that they will show their age as they are used.
This camera bag is ideal for SLR cameras with interchangeable lenses. It has a zipper pocket on the front side and back, and a clear pocket on the top gusset of the interior for high storage capacity. The main compartment has a wide opening and comes with a removable divider and lens wipe so you can adjust its position to suit your camera.
