PORTER PLUME

The PORTER PLUME series features leather goods crafted from European cowhide kip as the primary material. While boasting a basic design, it employs advanced sewing techniques.
To achieve a sharp, clean impression, corners are finished at right angles, and the interior is neatly finished with a folded edge. The distinctive folded edge is created by wrapping the outer leather edge three times with leather, then stitching along the fold to secure it. This demands advanced technical skill to achieve perfectly straight, distortion-free stitching.
The calf kips used in this series undergo a traditional four-sided rubbing technique to impart character to the leather. This results in a plump, natural grain finish distinct from embossing, offering a supple and refined texture.
