PORTER x Marc Newson

Marc Newson is an internationally renowned industrial designer of Australian origin. His practice spans an exceptionally broad range of design fields, encompassing furniture, vessels, automobiles, and aircraft design, as well as architecture, timepieces, jewellery, and fine art installations.
Renowned for his unconventional approach to materials, techniques, and manufacturing processes, he has created numerous iconic works representing postmodern and subsequent design eras through his distinctive aesthetic characterised by pure forms and bold colour usage.
This collaboration features a fully reversible design utilising two iconic materials. One side employs hickory, a material deeply associated with Marc Newson, while the other side uses nylon twill, emblematic of PORTER. This allows the bag to change its appearance to suit the situation or mood.
Furthermore, the zip tape and leather pull tab feature orange accents, the iconic colour shared by both PORTER and Marc Newson.
