The COAL series uses Herdmans Linen, synonymous with high-quality linen. The original fabric, woven on a shuttle loom in Okayama using the finest Irish linen yarn spun by Herdmans, a long-established spinning manufacturer, at a factory in Cape Town, becomes more flexible and pleasant to the touch the more it is used. Compared to regular linen, it has a firmness and a refined sheen, and is also excellent in moisture absorption, quick drying, and breathability. The handle and triangular gusset, which are also design accents of the bag, are made of cowhide leather that has been loosened over time with a drum to create a natural texture, preserving the original texture and feel of the leather. The included key charm can be attached to the handle of the bag, or worn around the neck as an accessory. The 2WAY tote bag (L) has a large capacity that is perfect for short trips. The interior has a large pocket for storing documents, as well as a pocket large enough to store a smartphone or wallet.
