This 100% organic cotton hand towel is dyed with natural herb dyes using coffee beans that would have otherwise gone to waste. No petroleum-based coloring agents are used, making this a sustainable item that is gentle on the environment and your skin.
They are produced by "ao," a gauze specialty store that aims to create safe and secure products by focusing on domestic production.
Normally, after the towels are woven, a "washing" process uses several chemicals to remove oil and dirt from the cotton in order to improve absorbency and breathability, but these hand towels do not use any chemicals at all.
By taking the time to wash them with natural enzymes, natural soaps, and abundant natural water, the fibers are not damaged and the original softness and texture of the cotton is achieved. The processing of food grade enzymes also results in a superb texture with outstanding water absorbency, breathability, and feel.
