The "TANKER" series was introduced in 1983 and is synonymous with PORTER.

It uses an original three-layer fabric developed with the U.S. Air Force flight jacket "MA-1" as its motif. The 3-layer fabric of nylon twill (surface) + polyester cotton (middle layer) + nylon taffeta (reverse side) is very light, with the soft feel of bonding material and the vivid rescue orange of the reverse side. This series is filled with the thorough attention to detail of Yoshida Kaban craftsmen in all processes from cutting to sewing and parts.

It is available in three colors: black, sage green, and iron blue, with a vivid rescue orange on the reverse side. In addition, hardware such as aluminum zippers, snap buttons, and nasukans, which were rare at the time of its release, have been daringly made to peel off their paint so that they will change over time as they are used.

Despite its compact size, this shoulder bag is equipped with eight card compartments and a zipper pocket, making it useful in travel situations as well. It can be used as a stand-alone pouch as it comes with a detachable shoulder strap, and can also be used as a waist bag by using the loop on the back.
