The special-order series from <GREGORY> and <BEAMS BOY>, which is hugely popular every season. This season’s special-order collection is based on models from the rare ‘purple tag’ era, which was in use for only about three years between 1990 and 1993. The colour scheme is sampled from actual vintage models, realistically recreating the sun-bleached and faded appearance resulting from ageing. The design incorporates the unique imbalance characteristic of vintage items—where ‘the red sections retain their vivid colour whilst the purple sections have faded significantly’—as seen in the original models.
