The "TANKER" series was introduced in 1983 and is synonymous with PORTER.

It uses an original three-layer fabric developed with the U.S. Air Force flight jacket "MA-1" as its motif. The 3-layer fabric of nylon twill (surface) + polyester cotton (middle layer) + nylon taffeta (reverse side) is very light, with the soft feel of bonding material and the vivid rescue orange of the reverse side. This series is filled with the thorough attention to detail of Yoshida Kaban craftsmen in all processes from cutting to sewing and parts.

It is available in three colors: black, sage green, and iron blue, with a vivid rescue orange on the reverse side. In addition, hardware such as aluminum zippers, snap buttons, and nasukans, which were rare at the time of its release, are made to peel off their paint on purpose so that they will change over time as they are used.

This tote bag is just right for daily use and can hold A4 size documents. Despite its simple design, it has functional specifications with a zipper pocket and a clear pocket in the interior in addition to the two distinctive front pockets. The long handles are set at a length that allows it to be carried on the shoulder.
