MATERIAL : Nylon Twill INNER : Nylon Taffeta Made in JAPAN
The "TANKER" series was introduced in 1983 and is synonymous with PORTER.
It uses an original three-layer fabric developed with the U.S. Air Force flight jacket "MA-1" as its motif. The 3-layer fabric of nylon twill (surface) + polyester cotton (middle layer) + nylon taffeta (reverse side) is very light, with the soft feel of bonding material and the vivid rescue orange of the reverse side. This series is filled with the thorough attention to detail of Yoshida Kaban craftsmen in all processes from cutting to sewing and parts.
It is available in three colors: black, sage green, and iron blue, with a vivid rescue orange on the reverse side. In addition, hardware such as aluminum zippers, snap buttons, and nasukans, which were rare at the time of its release, are made to peel off their paint on purpose so that they will change over time as they are used.
This is a handbag with an impressive horizontal form. The front side has two front pockets typical of tankards, and the height is high enough to hold a 500ml plastic bottle and the gusset is wide enough to hold a wide item such as a lunch box.
Number of pockets Exterior: 2 Interior: 3 All models come with an original drawstring made by Porter.
