This item is inspired by American tool bags and work aprons from the 1940s and 1950s, and is made of beautiful shiny nylon cotton twill. The military-inspired nylon cotton twill makes it lightweight, creating a gap between the impression of a work item and the material it is made of.

Product washing gives it a soft and light impression. The metal fittings are plated with shiny plating (nickel for black, real gold plating for off-white), and have an elegance not found in work items. The product washing process creates rippling, wrinkles, and puckering in the stitching, giving the bag a vintage work item look and feel. The puckering that occurs in the triple-stitched areas on the front of the bag is a design point of this series.

This 2-way tote bag (S) is based on the motif of a coal bag for carrying coal and a tool bag for carrying tools. It can be used in a 2-way configuration: hand-held by the handles or slung over the shoulder with the shoulder strap. The handles are shortened to emphasize the hand-held style, and the compact size can hold A4-size documents, making it easy for women to use. The cushioned handle is easy to grip and will become more comfortable in your hand as you use it.
