PORTER COUNTER” is a series of elegant leather accessories that incorporate the delicate double-stitched detailing found on leather dress shoes.

Bovine steer is chrome-tanned, and then tannin and resin are soaked into the fibers for a fine finish. The silver surface is then rubbed and coated with paint and synthetic resin. The glossy and moderately soft leather is characterized by its high quality and luxurious feel. For the interior, we used horsehide for lining used for leather shoes.

Depending on the model, a part of the sewing process uses a two-needle sewing machine used for shoe manufacturing, and fine pitch double stitching is applied. Wallets, card cases, pen cases, and clutch bags are sewn with a dogtail* motif on the heel of leather shoes. Some items have a loop with a double ring attached, reminiscent of the pull loop on boots that you insert your fingers into when taking them on and off.
