This is a strip-shaped floral print that is an updated re-edition of Takashi Murakami’s original print work titled “Ohanacchi,” created using the modern techniques of the Kaikai Kiki Print Studio.

It is a truly vibrant piece, with flowers blooming all over the canvas.
But that’s not all that makes it special.

Murakami’s “Flowers” is based on the “Snow, Moon, and Flowers” motif found in traditional Japanese painting.
This work incorporates the “all-over” technique—a style that completely covers the entire canvas—from American Abstract Expressionism.
Rather than simply filling the space with flowers, the composition is designed to guide the viewer’s gaze through the arrangement of colors and shades, making it a work that offers the joy of appreciating it as a painting.
