This is a special-order multi-case produced by Takata Orimono, a manufacturer of tatami mat edges founded in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. The “Tatami-belli” fabric is reminiscent of denim, and the “BEAMS JAPAN” logo is expressed in a jacquard pattern featuring a three-dimensional pattern.
The compact pouch with no gussets is strong and has just the right amount of slip and softness, making it suitable for daily use. This item is inspired by Okayama, known as the birthplace of domestic jeans.
