The Hermès “Birkin” prototype created for Jane Birkin, which recently sold for a historic high price at a Sotheby's auction, remains fresh in memory.
We faithfully reproduced the original “UNICEF” and “Médecins du Monde (Doctors of the World)” stickers that adorned the bag during the period Jane used it, printing them in full size on cotton fabric using silk. The original body uses thick cotton and is crafted to the exact dimensions.
The handles and the shoulder strap, unique to this prototype, are also faithfully reproduced at full scale.
